What an incredible term 1 we have just had!
Romeo and Juliet was an incredible success with wonderful audiences who all raved about the students enthralling, truthful performances! Huge congratulations to our Youth Group who worked tirelessly to create such an excellent version of this particularly famous and iconic play. Thank you parents, for all your support with the promotion of this wonderful production!
Stepping Out, with our adult cast, was such a heart warming experience with the adult students shining brightly in this comedy drama, depicting real people so convincingly.
Throughout both these productions there was total support, warmth and kindness from everyone in both casts and crew, with humour and a happy atmosphere throughout. All credit to all our wonderful students, staff, helpers and chaperones.
OUR NEXT PLAY ‘The Jungle Book’, performed by our wonderfully talented Community cast aged from 7-70+ years, will be a fantastic early Christmas treat for the family, at the Grove Theatre, on the 6/7th December. To book tickets go to rda.onlineticketseller.com It will be an early Christmas treat.
Our Robin group have decided to perform ‘Grease’ for their next show. This will be on Friday 15th May at the Hippodrome Theatre.
Our youngest children have chosen to perform ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ in the summer 2026. This will be performed on the 6th June at The Grove Theatre.
The NT Connections play ‘Macbeth, Macbeth, Macbeth, Macbeth, Macbeth’ will be performed at the Grove theatre on the 28th March and the 19th April at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.
This Christmas the youngest children in both groups will perform something Christmassy to their parents at their normal lesson time, in their last lesson before the Christmas holidays.
The Home Ed students will also be performing on the 5th December from 1.30pm-2.30pm at The Christmas Tree Festival, at St. Andrews Church, Seaside Road [near big Tesco’s on Lottbridge Drive]
Our next LAMDA exam day is 15th November 2025. Becky and two parents will be taking a small group of students up to the LAMDA public examinations, at the Drama School on Talgarth Road, to take their exams.
