At Robinson Academy of Drama, our students have taken part in the English-Speaking Union Performing Shakespeare competition – an inspiring opportunity that encourages young performers to bring Shakespeare’s words to life while building confidence, creativity and strong speaking skills.

Our teacher Lisa was at the final with the girls, held at Shakespeare’s Globe. Lisa played a huge part working very hard with the girls to get them to the final. They won the whole national competition!

The photograph of the girls and Becky was taken at the semi-final stage, capturing a really special moment in their journey, that highlights the joy, teamwork and confidence they gained along the way. We’re incredibly proud that our 2 of students went on to win the entire competition, a fantastic achievement! Well done girls!
